I believe that the old man that laid there
in that muddy soil is something more than just an old man but something less than an angel. I think he could be classified as both not just the one or the other. His demeanor and bad bodily movements,functions and signs of an experaston date. But the fact that he causes all of these strange happenings to people makes me think he may be of supernatural decent.
"The blind man who didn't recover his sight but grew three new teeth"
"The paralytic who didn't get to walk but almost won the lottery"
All of these bizarre events were all caused by the old man for better or worse. I think the showings of both sides leads me to believe he is both. But the real angel in this story is the wife who takes care of this person even when scrutinized.
